Default Short day session, six fish
My fishing partner and I did a short day session today on a small gravel pit in Shropshire. I reckon we did extremely well to winkle out 6 fish during the session. Taffi managed 5 commons to over 14lb and I beat the blank with a beauty of a mirror at 12.12, not big but a stunning looker.

Not a bad days sport for the time of year and pretty good for a day ticket water

Heres a pic of the 14lb common.. although the fish wernt the biggest, thay where more than welcome on a cold january day.

I'd class that as a good day in July, let alone January! Nice result.

One quick query though - were you stood up when that photo was taken? It looks like it, but I hope you say no.
