What a session, full of high's and low's!!

After not been fishing for a while,i decided to do a quick overnight session on sat nite the 1st dec (were has the year gone??). Being on limited fishing time i have to go whatever the weather so after seeing gale force winds and heavy rain forecast i had to bite the bullet and go. Set up for 2.00pm sat aft i got a swim that was sheltered even tho its the least fav swim on the lake??

. anyway i got off to a good start at 5.45 the left hand rod melted of resulting in a 17.08. Good start and was happy to go wi a fish under me belt!

But a little while later i was away again,the fish came in quite easily,so i got my net and crossed over the top of me rods when disaster struck! as i stepped over my left leg slipped into the lake and my right leg came crashing down ontop of me rod and a horrible noise was heard!?

i looked round and saw that i had snapped my delkim alarm clean off the buzz bar!!!!! so i eventuly got the fish in the net,weighed(19.04),treated and slipped back to her home. next job was to fish my alarm out of the margin and i found it stright away. so now im down to 2 rods! gutted!! Anyway the carp gods saw sympathey on me and in the nxt 2 hours i had 2 more takes which resulted in this 26.02 and a 23.12. In the end i had 4 fish,soaking wet from the waist down and a broken delkim!! What a session!!

well done mate,ive done that before but broke a rod.sounds like a good session though.

top result i too was out last night and had a low double which i had to land it in the worst of the wind and rain plus it wiped out one of my other rods. Shame about the delkim pal
