Fortune often favors the brave. I've had a few memorable catches in the past when conditions suggest you should really be tucked up in front of the TV! Well done mate.

How's the Delk?

If you've not already messed with it, don't try to switch it on yet. Just remove the battery and let dry slowly near a radiator. Where did it actually snap off? Around the collar?

If you can get the alarm itself going again, let me know what casing or body parts you need as I might have a few spares kicking about.

cheers mate but i sent it off to delkim yesterday,it snapped at the bottom were the the thread comes out of the plastic case! delkim said it would cost no more than £20?? and would be a week or so?! so im just gonna use 2 rods fri nite and see if i can winkle anymore out!! cheers for the offer tho its much appreciated!!

delkims after service have been spot on for me and ive used them a few times to check things out.

Top result mate, well worth the soaking.
I had a mate once playing a fish about a rods length out to his left he was putting quite a bit of pressure on it when the hook pulled and the lead came flying out and took out his brand new armalite on the rest, shattered it completly.
He was gutted
