Hi All,

Just got back from a brief session on Blackwood Pool. Stalked three fish off the surface to 12lb 4oz (Mirror), with a 10lb 6oz Fully Scaled Mirror, and a 7lb 10oz Mirror.

I'm amazed at how much diferent an image can look whether the flash is used or not on a camera. As with my astbury fish, the long mirror, was taken at dusk and I have shots that make it look both day and nighttime, quite strange how different it can look with the flash on!

It's the second time I've had that long mirror Chris, and I've already seen it on the bank before this year...gets around a bit!

Same here Nige... no disrespect to your capture but i had a good look through all my pic's and ive had that fish 6 times...i know its easy to recognise, but you can tell by the broken pectoral fin, thats just the one's where i took a pic when i first started carping properly... the long mirror loves a floater.. i saw him waddling in front of peg 20 on Sunday night...

Had another few hours down tonight, becuase the conditions were ideal earlier on. The wind was a little awkward and it was one of those sessions where the trees seemed to reach out and grab my hook, LOL.

In the end I had two fish to 11lb 2oz, but there were *plenty* of fish on the move...
