Default 1st Blackwood Fish for me......
quick overnighter last night, arrived and found a few fish showing of peg 17 so set up round there, after 15mins i had them on the top takign floaters, shortly followed by a 5lb 2oz fully scaled mirror

at approximately 01:15am the margin rod flew off like an express train to find a 5lb 6oz near leather trying to hang himself bait - the faithful chickpea

at 09:30am this morning had them on the floaters again going mental and soon found myself hooked to a much better fish (the little 6ft Fox Bansai was finally being put through its paces) and soon to grace the net was my 1st Blackwood double, all 11lb 6oz of dark chestnut mirror carp !!

the photos will probably be around in 2008 as they are on my SLR and pics 32,31,30,29,28,27,26 lol the 11lber wouldnt stay still on the self timer pmsl was goin mad !!

success for the carp scarer at last

i wish, i was going to go deep sea fishing for polargics of the coast of the algarve, i spoke to the chaps there who said it wouldnt be a problem for this week as they have had loads wanting to go, sadly this week wasnt for me and nobody wanted to go on the boat, i couldnt afford to charter it myself !!! GUTTED as the previous weeks they had been nailing makos and big blue sharks
