Just got back from a 24 hr session on Holden Lane Lake.
Fishing conditions were not ideal, so no wonder there wasnt a net wetted. Cold wind on all day from when i got there around 9 in the morning.
Just waiting for them to wake up and start eating my bait! Nice visit from Baggin, get yourself on mate
Suprisingly there were 11 bivvies on Sat dinner time
Keep you all updated.
Chris

That's the one, Astbury, and when I fancy a bit of something different I have a couple of other waters to have a crack at.
Top Pool does interest me, but I'd like to have a go at Astbury also, and given the amount of interest in the Top Pool, I favour Astbury for this year.

Afraid not for the foreseable. What with work and schoolwork the fishing has to take a bit of a back seat, but I don't mind as such, because most places seem to be fishing poorly and others are closing in just a few weeks, and my work now will all pay off in a few months...
(Fingers crossed until I have cramp!)

Very sensible of you.... I must admit, fishing should take a back seat while taking exams and learning to drive (although my 1st exam was on the monday and i did thurs-sun on top pool ha ha), but my grades reflected as all i had in my mind in the exams is what i was going to do on my next session! Never mind.......
