Just let you all know that one angler has been catching a few down the cric. Last week he had an 11 and a 13lb'er on an overnighter and last night he had a 10lb'er and a lot of bream. He's on there tonight as well so i'll let you know if he has some more

Just thought i'd post the first blank of the new forum I only fished the Cricket Ground for a few hours and only managed a small liner. To those who don't know, I can say with a fair amount of certainty that its rainin out there. Hasn't stopped all day. The gear is soaked and covered in mud, and I caught nothin. So i'll be back on the bank on Thursday

I'm afraid not mate. Had a liner off the top corner rod but that was it. I couldn't see the whole lake as I was huddled up under the brolly shelterin from the wind and rain but I could see the main body of the lake with no signs of fish. Having said that, there was a bit of ice when we got there and you could see some bubbles come up under neath in a certain area in the middle. After the ice moved (taking out both sets of rods ) you couldn't see bubbles for the wind
