Default 1st Night on Bluebell

Did my first night on the Bluebell lakes complex last night after work and managed two mirrors of 15lb. Was nice to get a couple on my first session as know that bait and rigs are working etc! Hopefully get a few of the biggies from the complex under my belt soon!

I have a ticket for a lake on the M25 which is one hell of a journey and have found it quite hard to get the time more than anything to travel down. But next year a bit more planning and it will go alot smoother.
If you are travelling that far you have to to REALLY want either that one special fish or the chance to catch loads of bigguns. Thought the linear syndicate wasnt such a syndicate as a all year day ticket type of deal. Could be a nightmare to get there and find only awful swims.

On the guys lake syndicate there a set number of members. And it's only on 3lakes. Not sure on the numbers mind.

Some maybe obvious tips that i was given about long distance angling but are good ones none the less.

AA cover is a must.
Measures to keep bait and food fresh, or if you are going to buy it regularly from shops near by can you leave your kit?
How long can you stay each time? Probably better to do the long journey and stay for 5 days than do it for an over nighter 5 times.
Try and keep in contact with someone who is nearby, get all the goss then and where fish have been caught (more important if you have a target fish and not just trying to catch loads)
Try and travel at silly hours of the day like 2am, makes the drive so much easier it unreal.

Yeh i've heard that myself, i've just bought that Winter Ticket for Hardwick, would love them to open a syndicate on there. I'm on a syndicate up here in chester just becoming more of nightmare than it's worth.

Yeh i no mate, just that i don't many waters up here were you can pay £120 for 6months fishing with 2 40's over 25 different 30's and god knows how many 20's....

Long way to travel i no, but a good chance of a wacker.

Didnt say it was an awful water mate! Just awful winter form! Again hope you prove that wrong.

See i am mental the water i have a ticket for is alot further, less 40s, less 30s and far less chance of a bite, but we do what makes us happy.
