Thumbs up Our 2006 Birch Grove Pictures
Hi all,

Just got back from holiday this morning so only just got around to adding pics from our Birch Grove trip, week before last.

It was a great week even though I had to go home a few days early for my brothers wedding, but a good time was had by all (as usual) and we managed a few nice kippers between us. Final tally was 12 fish, with as far as I’m aware, no losses – I know Chris and I banked every one we hooked, which was pleasing.

Arrived at dinner time on the Sunday with Chris and Myself fishing the Main Boards, and Shaun and Miffer in the Compound. I think these are in the order that we had them;

Chris - 11lb 12oz common


Miffer - 20lb 6oz common


Julian - 23lb 12oz mirror


Shaun - 15lb+ common


Chris – 21lb 6oz common


Julian – 21lb+ common


Miffer – 29lb 3oz common


Julian – 20lb 4oz common (stalked off the surface with a worm – we think this is the same one miff had on the first night – no wonder it took me ages to convince it the worm was safe!!)


Chris – 22lb 12oz (the longest battle I’ve ever witnessed – took over 40 minutes to get the bugger in!)


Julian – 27lb 12oz mirror


Chris – 24lb 3oz mirror


Only one missing is Miffer’s 17+ common which he had after I left on the Friday morning.

Fantastic result there lads.Stunning fish and the the photography is bang on.
Love that picture of Miffa in the water...

As for Chris's face on the last one, I feel a caption contest coming on.....
