nearly a picture in the snow

Arrived at the lake yesterday to find the car park FULL thought ahhh no way but lucky enough there was a work party goin on one off the other lakes buzzin

Got there around 1ish went and had a chat with a mate the set up

with a cold NW wind i set up on the back off the wind hoping for a bite as am making a brew the left hand rod on the choddy is away resulting in a nice mirror off 19.4

made another brew after that as the i had made went cold
that was it for the rest off the night the fish really seamed to switch off nothing like the pervious night when they were crashing all over
Morning
woke up to an absolute one toner on the right hand rod wack am in straight away i could feel the fish keeping deep huging the bottem could be a decent one i thought after a good fight she was mine in the net

up she went on the scales 26.1oz buzzin this fish i actually caught last year on new years eve
Last fish off the year and it was a 20 (look here)

to top the session off i packed up bivvy dry walking round with the barrow wow the heavens opened and i got soaked well worth it though

just wish the rain would off held off this morning because it was white the ground last night bit guited that i didnt take a picture now ahh well

no mate not used them as much recently its all bout the boilies now get them in there lol and the big favorite the choddys
