Banging part 3

Went out on my own today due to rob working nights. Got to the lake at 1ish to find one of my mates set up in the swim i have been in for the last 2days.

He was a gent and moved due to feeling a tad guilty from me telling him the day before i was coming back on the peg and he said he would never jump in on my peg.lol

Anyways rods were out for 2ish and i settled down with a brew.

Next thing the right rod was away with a full blooded run. 12lb 2oz hit the net and was a nice start.



Both rods were recast due to having to move the other one with the last fish. 5mins later the left bobbin smashed into the rod and i was away again.

This time it went 15lb 11oz. It was a stunning fish which the camera hasnt caught.





The rod was cast back out to the same spot. 10mins past and the right rod was away again.
This was a nice fish which went 15lb 11oz again.





The rod was sorted back out and i chilled with a cuppa after a hectic hour or so. There was fireworks going off everywhere so i slowly started packing away. Then the right rod bobbin smashed into the rod again.

The result a nice 12lb 4oz common.



I went again today and blanked my socks off.lol
