Well after a mad rush cause my gaffa said i could have today off i went for a day on my new winter water aka poynton pool, well it started off slow until my right hand bobbin dropped to the deck and after a wierd tussle a nice common of 17lb and ounces went in the net, my digi camera aint been used for 3 month and so had no battery on it, luckily my slr had enough to take a few pics so alls good, never stopped there tho an hour later it dropped again and bish bash bosh a common of 18lb and ounces was in the net, never took any pics as didnt want to risk having a decent fish and have no camera, firstime ive fished it and certainly not the last so hope there are a few more to come on them cold winters days
