Yeah, I know what you mean.

In terms of a ‘specimen’ of the fully scaled strain, it’s probably the best I’ve ever caught. However, if I’m honest, I do prefer fully scaled fish that have imperfections in the patterning (if you know what I mean). I think it somehow gives them lots of character. Have had plenty to decent weights in the past, but in terms of character and looks, I’d have to pick this little fellah - still takes my breath away after nearly five years!
