Thumbs up Birch Grove - Chris's Week

Chris is on Birch this week. Got a text this morning to say they'd had three takes till this morning, with one fish landed - a stunning 29lb 9oz common to Bloo. Well in mate

Spoke to Chris again a little while ago and Adam's added a 15lb 15oz carp to the list.

Off to a cracking start - can't wait till our week in September!

Will keep you posted on their results through the week.

J

Hello everyone

Thanks for the comments, its been a pretty hectic week to say the least....

We ended up with 11 fish, in the shape of

Bloo-29lb 9oz common, 18lb 6oz mirror and 9lb common

Adam 24lb 10oz common, 15lb 15oz mirror, 15lb 9oz mirror and 20lb 9oz mirror

Cradock- a mint 18lb 10oz linear for him

Chris- I took 3 fish 24lb 4oz common(1 oz bigger than last years ) 18lb 10oz common and 14lb 2oz common.

We lost 11 fish altogether, so was 50/50 really.... 11 landed 11 lost, but anyone who fishes birch will what the situation is, fishing tight to snags and pads up to 120 yards range...but never mind, cracking week had by all....

Had a nice visit over to the Mangrove to take a picture of Tim Paisleys fish, he had a cracking 24lb mirror and his 23rd yr anaversery on the lake..... he came down for a brew this morning to see how we'd all gone on as he knew we were really doing well....he was impressed to say the least..... 22 takes in 1 week on Birch...... lets hope the place will get back to its old self......

Also Alice Brazier nipped down this morning to see how we'd gone on.... impressed 2!

Cant wait get back with Jules Miff and Captain Flash....... lets hope we can winkle a big un out.....

Chris
