Default top pool

Well ive never seen them spawning that hard for so long ! I spent 2 days up in the alders watching every carp in the lake thrashing the place to a foam !
After 2 days of the relentless heat and no signs of even a fish looking at bait i was ready to call it a day.................Went for a wander and found a solitary fish cruising........................Flicked a mixer 6 ft from it............It looked at it and went straight to it ..........slurp and away it went...........Fought like a pitbull.............

Went on that evening stalking for nothing.............climbed a stile and put my foot down a bloody rabbit hole ........... Got back to my peg with help..............got the rods out............did the night........... came home ........... hospital....................loads of torn ligaments but no breaks !

Looks like fishings on hold Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Thumbs up

Nice one Phil great result from a very difficult situation.
If i know you come monday you will buy/hire or steal a wheel chair if that is what is required to get you on the bank next week.

Hope you feel loads better after some rest .

Lovely chunk is that!!!

Leather Carp - he had hair until he did the winter on the top pool, the back is the only bit he can't reach!

Well Done Phil - Don't believe that you won't be fishing, you'll end up somewhere somehow! Get well soon!
