Default River Dove Opening Day...

thanks to a teacher training day i had the pleasure of taking junior down to the river dove on the glorious opening day of the season.. turned up to the carp park and it was heaving lol

spoke to a couple of chaps who had caught a few chub, people bivvied up from midnight etc...

managed to sneak into a swim with a loverly overhanging tree... fed a few pellets.. to cut a long story short i missed 3 what can only be described as SAVAGE bites (must of been barbel) towards the end of the day i nailed my first 3lb chub was chuffed to bits took a few pics only to find when i got home they hadnt saved onto the memory card on camera????? wierd!

by the sounds of it only one barbel from the Derby stretch of 8lb was caught butloads of 4lb+ chub from the sotas stretches

Sat nav codes! lol!

Never had a problem finding any of waters from the maps in the ticket. Mind you, I know how to read an OS Map.
