Default New Rods - Terry Hearn MKll

Hi Lads/Ladys

Just looking at a set of new rods and the new Terry Hearn MKll caught my eye, but ive never used or had a set of ESP rods, just wanted to no if anyone on here can recommend these rods.

Or any other rods that you guys could recommend dont really want to go over the £200 per rod mark, but if the rods are right im willing.

cheers,

P.S sorry for starting "a new rod" thread

I can recommend the Harrison torrix 12' 3.25s. For under £200 you will be hard pushed to find a better all round rod than these.

i paid £640 for x3 custom made torrix built by mark tunley,in 12ft 3.25lb tc that included 50mm butt ring stainless fitting full duplon handle, if your interested in paying slightly more than your buget , that included postage you can view his stuff at Mark Tunley Custom Rod Builder btw i use to have some mark 1 terry hearn rods and they were not very good with pva bags, to be fair they are mainly margin to medium range rods

I do mate, he is called Bruce Ashby (do a search) and if you give him a call direct you will be pleasantly surprised at how much cheaper he is, built to your own spec. mine cost £580 for the 3.

Default Diawa AKN

Brought a pair of Diawa Tournament AKN a month ago and cannot praise them highly enough. Managed to pick them up for £200 each from Foster although they are priced at £250. Depends what your after but i sold 3 x Century FS 3lb for them and they are **** thin and so light its untrue. Only had a 16 on them so far but the best fight and most fun ive had in years. They are finished superbly and put Century to shame to be honest, should i need a chuck they have plenty in them but are def a playing rod- 10 out of 10 - ps and they look the ********!!!
