Now the handbags have been put away

90% of the time running rig fished slack line. Dosn't matter what direction the fish moves it will register a bite

i use bolt rigs for 99% of my fishing, purley because i don't feel confident in the running rigs that i have tried. any rigs/products that could be recommended would be greatfully recived.

The thing I like best is that they are totally fish friendly. If you get a crack off or a line break on snags etc you know the lead will free every time

Dont need running rig products atall, just a complete rip off. Small amount of fine tubing, a lead with a wide gape swivel (korda ones come to mind) of any shape or size and a pack of buffer beads is all you need for the perfect running rig set up. As for hooking potentials its all down to the rig..... Iv never had any problems with running rigs. Line clips on rods are pretty damn useful aswell for the bolt effect.

Bolt rigs are unsafe and litter the lake bed with leads.

when fishing into or up against weeds or pads rigs that eject the lead are invaluable. how many fish do you think you would lose if you had a 2 or 3oz lead swinging about just above ur hook link when the fish ran through the weed or pads.
