Default Low stretch mono

Im after a mono that has little or no stretch for my marker rod, braid is banned on club waters and i find the stretch in normal mono doesnt give accurate depths. Any ideas please??

The rule is there for a purpose.
One fish was found dead wrapped up in braid, and another was caught with a few loops of braid around it, cutting into the body. Both were off that big lake near to Jodrell , within 18 months of it open to fishing.

This had never occurred before to my knowledge, so the no-braid rule was introduced for the following year.

I don't suppose this is allowed, even if it isn't a braid.

Surely this would have been with people using braid for fishing with.I have never known a fish to be caught up in a cracked off marker or spod braid set up, but I'm not saying it has never happened just seems to me that at times some clubs panic and ban every method to do with a potential harm to there fish without thinking first

Panic panic panic
You wait and someone will reply that braid does not deteriorate in the water and stays there causing a threat. Oh and mono doesn't, yeah don't forget mono dissolves in water within a week eh

Maybe.

I believe the braid was used for fishing, it made it easier to cast to the far bank where the fish lived , I did see someone pull for a break after casting into the far trees, I thought his rod was going to snap at first.
