Default 2lb tc rods

I have a set of 3lb tc rods and i wanted something lighter for the waters that I fish and for those situations where my current rods are too stiff.

I was looking at a set of either 2 lb greys prodigys or 2lb Greys barbel rods. As they have a nice through action.

Which would you reccomend?

I've a set of 2lb Prodigy's and there spot on, I've had fish to 19lb+ on them and find playing fish upto this size far more enjoyable than using my 3.5lb Plats, but the waters I use them on are mostly weed and snag free.

If you can find any, go for 2 1/4 North Western carbon kevlars. I use these for most of my fishing and have had fish to 50+ in France and just under 30 in the UK and never had occassion to curse them.

Cheers guys, ill give it some more thought, just want something for the situations where 3lb is over gunning it! plus i love it when you strike and the rod arches over and you can feel everything in the fight through the rods.

Still not sure if ill got barbel or prodigies as they both seem good rods. Like the carp rods, but i do like the cork handles etc on the barbel.

also gonna go for a small set of bait runners at some point.
