Default opinions on fluro's

hiya lads and lasses!
15 lb fluro's what does everyone use?
i use esp ghost 15lb and clearwater's fluro,15lb, any breaking strain lower than this is not right for my situation.
i find the ghost to wiry for my likeing but strong, and the clearwater's supple but knot strength's low

many thanks all...ted

Ghost for me also.

I use 15lb for Top Pool and other snaggy/weedy waters, and the 12lb for clear water lakes, as once you've tied it you only get about 8-9lb BS!

Good stuff though

Ive had one or two different ones and my fav is the gardner subterfuge soft in 15lb. No where near as springy as some and lower memory than most.

Used 10lb ghost for the past coulple of years, had no problem with it. My pre - NW carping was in mainly un snaggy waters so colud get away with the lower diameter line. A couple of weeks ago I bought a spool of the new korda flouro, IQ is it, in 10lb. So far, so good...

I've used the fox illusion and korda IQ (pretty much the same stuff) in 15lb for a few years but since i've switched to weedy waters, they were letting me down at the knot. I changed to the 20lb IQ or 24lb Illusion last summer after the problems and have found the knot strength to be fine now. Also, with the exception of 'runs' waters, i've found the switch to heavier flurocarbon hasn't affected the number of fish i've caught.
