Default Danny Fairbrass's Tackle stolen....

DANNY FAIRBRASS HAS TACKLE STOLEN – CAN YOU HELP?

Danny Fairbrass boss of Korda developments has fallen foul of one of today’s most awful crimes against carp anglers; he has had ALL of his tackle stolen.

Danny has been working with Daiwa in the design of rods and reels over the past few years so he has several one off’s that simply will not be found any where else.

We hope by printing this news story an honest and compassionate angler will provide us with information that will lead to the recovery of the tackle and the arrest of the perpetrators.

Danny says ‘this is the second time I have had tackle stolen in the last 3 years, the first lot was from my van outside my house so I moved my kit to a secure area at work. The thieves obviously new what they were after which leads me to suspect they are local anglers who have hear through the grapevine where we are and exactly where my kit was stored as no other part of our yard has been touched. I feel certain they were anglers who knew it was my tackle as they have deliberately left my tackle box I guess because they know how personal a tackle box is. Their mistake was moving it and now the police have finger prints from it. We know there are anglers who use local stables to store tackle and they have seen me sorting my kit before sessions. I would suspect the police's enquiries will start there.’

Here is a list of just some of the more unique kit Danny has lost and we appeal to every angler to think of that sick feeling in your stomach when you have lost tackle and turn these low life’s into the authorities and help Danny get his kit back.

4 13 foot 3 ¾ Daiwa Infinity X custom built rods with full duplon handles and high stand off sic rings throughout – these rods are totally unique and will stand out a mile.

4 12 foot 3 ½ Daiwa Infinity X custom built rods with full duplon handles and high stand off rings throughout, again totally unique

1 12 foot 2 ¾ Daiwa Infinity X custom built rod

1 12 foot Daiwa spod rod, again totally unique full duplon handle Fuji grey high stand off rings

3 12 foot 3 ½ infinity X custom built with full duplon and silver tipping on the rings again very distinctive and rare

1 Free Spirit long range marker rod with

4 Infinity Baitrunners loaded with 45lb power pro braid

4 Daiwa Basia Reels with 3 spare spools, these spare spools cannot be bought yet so again are totally unique, the spools on the reels have demon braid on and the spare spools have mono on.

4 Daiwa Entoh reels loaded with 17lb X Line

4 Delkim Txi+ Buzzers and new Solar Collit Buzz Bars, again only just out so very unusual

2 Delkim Txi’s on single sticks with Stevie Neville Bobbins attached

Solar Globetrotter pod with special short legs made for Danny by Solar

Ultra light carbon landing net with Duplon float on the handle, again Danny’s own design so totally one off

Reuben Heaton scales with special Korda logo on them again rare!

Unique Korda waterproof clothing with Korda logo embroidered on it

Food bag with 2 Primus stoves and kettle which Danny would recognise

1 man armadillo bivvy with tension strap and no groundsheet

2 man armadillo with winter skin and groundsheet, used once!

3 leg JRC Cocoon Bed Chair with Tails Up 3 season Goliath sleeping Bag and Trakker bed chair cover folded inside
Unfortunately for the thieves much of this tackle would be instantly recognised by Danny and any of his friends, work colleagues and tackle dealers which numbers in the hundreds so whenever this kit gets used the user is going to his collar felt!

We repeat again Danny is offering substantial rewards for the recovery of the kit. Contact Korda on 01708 749775 or at info@korda.co.uk

I think a plan of action should be discussed for the reward.!!! A true comparison can be made between the People's front of Judea and Korda's Underwater carping Dvd.!!

Didn't see a 'Carp Barrow' listed on the items stolen that gear must of been b***dy heavy.!!!
He'll get it replaced with other gear..there's plenty that are less fortunate..

Not nice when this happens to anyone , though fortunately most of it is unique so should be spotted if used.

Is a part of me though that finds it amusing that they left his tackle box behind, probably full of Korda stuff
