The brother in law was fishing redes years ago, and someone crossed franks line and it all kicked off, they were trading blow for blow in the water, pretty brutal so I'm told.............

That man is Danny Fairbrass mate he is GOD of the tarts, companys will keep making him more and more 'unique' products so that people say .. WOW WEE ive got to get me one of those!!!!!!! As long as that man is using it it will sell! Guaranteed! He could pull off using badger gear and people would still buy it.

Im sure it was a matter of pride to find who had stolen his gear more than a plee for it back.

Do you not think the Mona Lisa is insured? Or a Pablo paint pot spillage? If Mr Fairbrass has had his gear lifted then its a shame, irrespective of how wealthy the bloke may be...you can't slag the bloke for being clued up enough to exploit the fuddy duddyness of a percentage of muppet anglers who actually believe that four different shades of shrink tube are really necessary to catch carp or instilling paranoia about the sharpness of hooks to be of more importance than actually breathing on the bank.... supply and demand boys...

Many won't remember old 'speccy' when he was trying his hardest to punt out uncoated korda leads and a bit of tubing to people in his spare time,I laughed so hard at the news he wanted a quid for a carp lead that I had to stop filming 'Castaway' due to a torn stomach muscle, which really upset me as it involved frolicking on the beach with a naked bird,on full pay!

Anyway, the bespectacled bank boffin went on to convince everyone that it is the done thing to have your leads fall off a clip whilst playing carp and before you could shout shandy to Sandy Smith he's an overnight success....

Many people have a dig at 'our' Danny but to be fairbrass to the guy he's done a lot for carp fishing, even if some of it is downright annoying, the bloke has found a demand in the market and used it to his advantage and others.I'll bet there aint many wanglers out on the bank today who could hold their hand up to not having a piece of Korda gear in their tickle box. If his gear HAS been nabbed again then I sympathise, its an awful thing to happen to whoever you may be,irrespective of your personal wealth. I just hope they took his underwater camera so we can all sleep safe from the CAAAAAAMMMM OOORN esque bankside shouts that are completely unsuitable and not required on the bank....

Had it stolen from {work} it states .

Strange how none of his Korda stock from {work} has gone with it.
As an obvious insurance claim would have followed.

There again no insurance Co would beleive (Ive had my korda stock stolen as well)
as they know its absolute ****e, and no self respecting tea leaf would touch it.
Also it would be easy to trace,as its the guy on the bank with ****loads of blunt hooks on the floor, bits of partially melted pva mesh everywhere, and rigtube you couldn`t hide from the dumbest copper alive, hanging off his rods, and the cleanest landing net around.

As he was working with most of the other tackle companys to develop gear i am sure he would not have paid a dime anyway.

It's bad when people who have used there hard earned cash to buy the gear gets it stolen, but for some reason i can't feel bad for him
