Default Beta Lights

Hi there
I've just been and bought some fox beta lights for my micron alarms and they don't fit to well, i kinda expected them to be a bit of a tight fit, but they are a liitle bit lose and fall out if tipped over. Do they require gluing in or is that not a good idea. Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Oscar

I'd use a clear silicone sealant as used in bathrooms/kitchens as opposed to super glue fella. Super glue tends to 'eat' away the plastic casing of alarms and once in can generally not be taken out without leaving a mess. Silicone sealant will be just as secure and wont 'eat' away the casing, also has the added advantage of being able to remove them easily if you ever change your alarms.

Hope this is of some help.

Also glue is not a good idea on these babys unless you want to glow yourself have you read on the back of the packet ? Apparently the EU were trying to ban UK tackle shops from selling these Fox Betalights i found all this out when i bought mine ......

Plus super glue isnt much good with water and it will degrade pretty quickly + its nasty horrible stuff that acts as a solvent on many materials and many many plastics.Silicolne is the best way i feel.

I had the same problem getting my beta lights to stick in my hangers, a little spot of 'blue tack' in the slot, no problem.

This has just reminded me, for information for anglers going to France, Belgium etc, these are not permitted on many waters and there is a posibility of tackle being confiscated if beat lights are spotted by the police, be warned, be safe.
