Get a new section mate...what make is it?

You will only ruin the feel/action..trying to fix it....or it will let you down when you need it.

Depends on how much is broken off as to whether it's worth doing. You can either lose the piece and end up with a shorter rod (which will need at least the top section re-ringing) or splicing/sleeving which will alter the action. Firstly, price up a new section. It may be as cheap as a repair, and will always be better than a repair.
If you do get a new section, put a tip eye on one end of the broken tip and a reel seat on the other, Stalker.

Get the top section re-rung and it will be ok except it will have a slightly stiffer action.
