Default reel line clips

ive got a shimano aerlex 8000 xs reel for my marker rod but ive broken the line clip on it , has anyone got ideas where i might be able to get a replacement clip ?
i dont wanna get a new reel because this one does me fine

try phoning shimano and see what they can do.. i think they will just say send it back and they will get the reel technicians to put a new one on

Like callum says try shimano...I had a problem with my trusty old 8010 gt and they sorted within 3 days...!!!...Free of charge not even any postage to pay.....

i did exactly the smae thing on the same reel, i just got a new spool for like 10 notes .

no idea m8 i was given the reel off a m8 and its virtually brand new apart from the line clip broken

as pointed out above the line clip is attached to the spool rather than the reel itself so surely only a replacement spool is required?

No need to replace the spool when you can just replace the line clip.. I got a new one for mine the other week, takes about 2 minutes to fit. Just give shimano parts a call and like others have said, there very good and very quick service
