Shop in Dresden shut down some time back. This looks to be a new venture - advert is in local paper. Apparrently local carp angler/journalist B Aldred is the man on the day

Correct...John Stephenson was a vintage tackle dealer/expert last I heard. It was a decent shop in its day the tak ex...had a lot of gear from there.Lets hope the new venture, whoever's running it matches its predecessor...

Ahhh… the memories…

Like seeing a set of Shimano rods, holdall, and oppi’s up for sale that bore a remarkable resemblance to the ones nicked from my shed just days before….

Happy days…

too true, I've no doubt this happened a few times it's inevitable... However the tak ex did provide a good secondhand tackle supply, it enabled me get some tackle that from new I would not have been able to afford....

It does say on the leaflet Julian that you now need ID if you are selling anything, which is a good idea as it should help stop the tackle thieves cashing in on there stolen goods.
