NW angling is under new management, maybe they are the new owners?

*Edit*

After reading it again, I see they have new premises, so they won't be the new owners.

NW Angling are never happy, live in Wigan myself and would sooner drive to Dave's of Middlewich than give these people any of my money.

For small items of tackle, the tackle shop in Pemberton ain't bad

Have had some good deals from Dave's in the past and not too long ago

Who has North West now then? Is Bernard still there?

I agree, I dont go anywhere else for tackle and bits.

What I find is the problem with NWA is that despite shopping there since I was 13 and them knowing me (god knows how much I have spent) they still treat me like a thief when I go down to the carp section. Having never stolen anything in my life, its insulting!

At least Leigh Tackle have decent stock levels (which is indicative of them running their business properly and paying their suppliers); like Tezza says, if they havent got it in they usually will have it in within a week.

Having just received my new bivvy, I can testify to that!

I had similar problems myself with local tackle shops (service - lack of) so last year I decided to bite the bullet and open my own, only a very small outfit compared with the likes of NWA and Fosters. I am interested in looking after the 'basic' needs of local anglers and offering the best service possible

First post on this forum so HI to everyone, recognise many of the usernames and after reading some threads this morning, decided to join myself
