welcome aboard mate, where is your shop located?

For info, there have been a number of changes at NWA recently and it’s now under the same ownership as Trev’s Tackle and Fishrite. A little healthy competition is good for any business as it helps keep you on your toes and often results in better deals for the consumer!

I went up to NWA for the first time last week and have to say that I was gobsmaked by how friendly all the staff were, got a warm welcome before I’d even set foot in the building - certainly a nicer experience than I get in most of the tackle shops round my way!

Was pretty impressed with the ranges too and imagine the extra buying power it has now it’s in the Trev’s/Fishrite stable will result in some good deals to be had.

Took a look at the new shop today, is were the old B&Q used to be before the bridge on the way into Wigan, next to Staples.
Is a big camping/outdoor supermarket and the tackle shop is inside, not too much in yet but doesn't look too bad and parking is good.

Is worth taking a look around the camping shop, some good fleeces, trousers, seal skinz socks, and general camping type stuff not badly priced

Stu,

Bang on with nwac, though if it has changed hands then let's hope it improves with a bit more competition.

went in for a mooch today , first impressions ........... not bad at all

i was expecting something similar to decathlon in stockport , but they actually do decent gear , greys , shimano , chub , daiwa etc

prices dont seem to bad either , picked up a daiwa mission xl stiff link double rig board for £5

i also asked if they could order stuff in from 1 of the suppliers as a 1 off sort of thing , i asked for some chub reel jackets , they are now on route from birmingham ,took my name & number , said they would be in touch when they land , so service on the face of it seems ok

with stock arriving most days they have quite a bit of kit in , so another good option imo
