I'd say necessary,no use in spending a fortune on a camera to have it rattling around ur rucksack.there are plenty of cheap ones on the market,but I got a tribal one in realtree for a pressie,big cheese that I am

with bet on this one . if you have spent alot of money on a decent camera you don't want it being knocked about in your rucksack or carryall.

By these I meant, the fishing tackle luggage, as opposed to your typical camera case/bag.

I'd say they're a rip off I only have one cos it was a gift and its of a poor design cos there aren't any zipped sections for spare batteries etc.My mates just use normal cases/bags.

in all honesty probably not needed, for those of you who know me i have an SLR camera and a hoofing great bit camera bag from Fpx i think (which i brought of ebay nice and cheap and in goodnick)

i am lookin to get a bigger lense so the bigger bag will come in handy. plus it carries all my films, tripod, shutter bulb, and polaroidfilters

in anutshell.... possibly worth it, but as long as my camera is safe then im happy
