i need a balance you see. i am planning to spend most of my time on astbury, so some big chucks could be in order, but i do a fair few socails with my mates on some little day ticket waters where i often only fish a few rod lengths out.

I had a few fish from the margins last year with the Prodigys and they were fine.
In fact, they felt better than my 2.75lb warriors.Very easy to play a fish close in.

Prodigy's are a fantastic rod for the money

I've got the 3lb tests and they cast a bag or a big lead with ease and great under the rod tip and fishing at close range
