Tackle shops If i did all my fishing gear buying online i wouldnt have the host of floats ,catmeat screws, bait bayonets, but when i go in a tackle shop its the rows of brightly coloured floats that i look at 1st and usually end up buying one telling myself it will be good to try the lift method on the float i actually tried it twice once last year on Fanshawe and again about 4 or 5 years ago.Rows of floats meant to catch more anglers then fish ...lol

Anything that costs a little bit more because it's 'camo', i.e bite alarm covers, bedchairs, rods, bivvies etc. Ridiculous..

a number of things really in my opinion !

the boilies take the michael, the hemp and particles do make me laff !

how any one can charge a couple of quid for a 200g bag of natural hemp, with no flavourings or additives i dont know !!

I suppose though if it wasnt for us anglers we wouldnt buy them and keep the shops in business

The manufacturers of luggage, terminal tackle, bivvies, you can buy a perfectly good tent from millets (obviously not orange and blue) for £50 sheets now adays! granted the budget tackle stores i.e. Badger are doing the right thing but its not about quality/reliability/strength with them, they are selling goods that are appealing to the budget anglers wallet! it may not be the best on the market but i'm sure for anyone that is a serious carper/angler they will invest in something abit more durable, Badger do have their place in the industry though i must add (as not all of their items are poor). thats when Fox and Shimano come in same product i.e. Bivvy, but more quality 10 times the price.

I've treid not to be too slanderous in this post by all means feel free to comment if i have and i will amend accordingly

Don't get me started with Badgerwhen we first started out carping we had a lot of gear to get so had to watch the pennies, I found the quality of goods that we purchased to be extremely poor and the aftersales care was shocking It turned out to be a total nightmare, one never to be repeated,we ended up having to return the goods after a few months use, for a full refund.
