Default How do you spool up when using braid ?

does it coil off the spool like mono ?

also, with braid being so thin, you can fit about 500m+ on even a very shallow spool, so do you put some mono on first to fill the spool up ?

No mate its 'limp' and doesn't coil off - its much lower in diameter to strength compared to mono ......it has it's uses for long range bite detection occasionally but has few advantages over mono....

In sea`fishing in deep water it gives you the opportunity to fish a 10oz lead rather than 1lb with mono in 200 foot of water maybe...in general course fishing needs to be matched to low test curve rods.......or hook pulls can be a problem!!
