Default Bright coloured line

What does anyone reckon to this bright red, lime green and bright orange line that hascome/is coming onto the market. They say fish cant see it and they may not be able to .
Myself it would be more of a confidence issue if i used brightly coloured line i feel its ok for the salty boys to use in the oceans but not really for me in a lake

A bit of scientific input from those who fully understand the physics of water/light dispersion/ refraction/ absorption would be helpful...it's an intriging subject..

But I ask this, if red is the colour that ''dissappears'' first in the fishes light spectrum...why are red maggots often the first choice colour as bait in many waters, whether shallow or deep, clear or cloudy? Bit of a contradiction I think.

The questions is; does it just make no difference to catch rates or could it give an edge in certain conditions....it's great that people like Lee continue to experiment at the possible cost of lower returns.

Makes you wonder just what the fish see, that bright/flouro pop-up to us could actually appear quite mundane to a carp.

I think fish spooking off line is also as much of a touch thing as a visibility issue..

Maybe its good for fish to see it?

Its only as humans we see it as 'line' fish cant make that jump! Its just something, it probably feels very unnatural hence the reactions when they touch it, can they really make the step of mental connecting line too hook, too person, too being on the bank? Thats a massive jump requiring alot of thought.
So maybe bright red line would attract them, or bright yellow, they like yellow pop ups why not bright yellow line? Fake corn doesnt smell, yellow line doesnt smell.

when i was in France last there was a French guy on the small lake next to where i was fishing, he came over for a chat well we both started waving our hands and drawing in sand but hey, anyway he had a run so i went and landed his fish for him! he was using bright yellow braid like the stuff for spod and marker rods and in no way was his catch rate effected! he continued to bag up all week!

But it could work in the exact opposite way... the fish will see it, think its unnatural and leg it thats my opinion any way.
