Default Best Bite Alarm on the market????

Just coming to the Autumn of my first serious Carp Season (19lb UK Common & 29lb French Mirror on the bank thank you very much), and I'm about to start making improvements to the tackle box. In your expert opinions what is the best bite alarm out there, what do you use & what would you buy with £200 to kit out a 3 rod set up next year...

I use nevilles but there really the tarty option. They have there good points, you can stand on them, cover them in mud and water for years and they will still beep at you.
Bad points, no inbuilt transmitter system and an attx one will set you back £200 alone.
The alarms are about £60 each.

for the money mate you but a better set of alarms ... do bear in mind that they have no volume control... so you will need to put a runbber bead in the speaker hole for margin / close in fishin ???

If you could manage an extra £50 then there are still Fox mmxr sets around going for £250 for 3 alarms and a receiver.

Fox MX's do the job fine for me, no remote sounder but generally fish close enough to the rods not to need one. Have got a sounder box but don't use it too often. Cost about £160 for 3 alarms and the sounder box, not too different to the Nevilles but you have tone and volume control.

Braidman is bang on though, save the £200 and wait until xmas

I've got 3 EOS-R's in advantage timber with the RX3 receiver and Halo Elite Bivvy lite, they all link in together great, light comes on when you've got a bite, RX3 vibrates waking you up so no need for hideous bleeping in the night and they look the dogs!
Never used them yet! But they're a great ornament in my kitchen and match my tribal trousers! lol
