one thing i used to use, was a piece of wire - which was for brought for threading pole elastic into a match pole.It had a loop on the end of the wire, so u attatch your line to. I should imagine they still sell them in the tackle shops, they are perfect - no messing/done in sec's!

prob is something else on the carp market thou now

Tubing rage rearing its head again eh!
1.Cut your line at an angle before threading.
2.Run the tubing through your fingers feeling for any kinks or where it may have been compressed in the packaging.
3.If there are kinks roll the tubing in your hands I found that warming it helps.
4.Start to thread your line though if it gets stuck try twisting the tubing and if its still getting stuck try again from the opposite end.
5.Resist the urge to snip the tubing down in size because you think the line must be near the end.....because it never is
6.If none of the above works you could always switch to leadcore if permitted

what i usually do is: cut line at an angle, thread tubing onto a lead clip sleeve, lead clip sleeve onto an inline lead, hold top of tubing so the lead is left hanging freely and thread the line through the tubing.
