tied a few rigs with this now, put them in water to try it out, and the triggalink coils up, which personally i think ruins the presentation

anyone got a solution ?.......is it meant to do that ?

Did you know that your not supposed to run it right through to the hook?

Your supposed to use something else with it.

In match fishing its called a bungey link...all the rage in Ireland in mid/late nineties feeder fishing.....was brought in to stop hook pulls when braided mainlines first became popularised. Scotts tackle in Northwich brought it back to the UK....where it became popular amongst reservoir Bream anglers

Brun, it should not fold up then so to speak if you are tying hooklength to it?

When immersed in water it shrinks so becomes fatter and can loop over. So if your going to use it, dip in water for 30 secs before casting tolet it shrink down.
Seems quite interesting, havent found a good use for it yet. A rig was sold by gardner for years on the same principle. Made with silicone over braid, popularised by warick i think.

when it shrinks it kind of twists and unless you pre wet it, then your rig can start to sit up off the bottom as it coils up

Its known as the recoil rig. It uses rig tubing and functions in the same way as nashy trigga link.
