JRC Terry Hearn stealth 3 leg, very comfy and rock solid but a bit bulky to carry (think it's the extra leg). Can pick one up for about £85 now
Have also got a JRC 2 leg chair have had for years, can't fault the quality of either.

Thumbs up

Used fox for 2 decades the last the ultra, then switched to JRC cocoon which is so so much better, ive never slept so well.

Just get the basic 3 leg cocoon, forget the ones with hearns name attached they are there to trap you into paying more.
Got mine of ebay £65 notes new, light and comfy as hell.

Got the Terry Hearn stealth 3 leg, decent bed chair but ive found the legs slip if extended, anyone else had this problem? Ive found a solution is to rub dirt onto the leg so it grips, bit of a pain really! I wouldn't mind if i was 18 stone but im only 13 stone, thats average isn't it? (Yes is the correct answer by the way! )

Not noticed that problem with mine Blue, think the legs on all the JRC chairs are the same.
Nice to know that I'm above average with something as well

IanB, bet you paid loads more for your fox bechair all those years ago than you did the Cocoon. The prices on bedchairs has really come down over recent years, my mate paid around £300 for a top of the range fox chair around 10 yrs ago

I had the misfortune to experience that embarrassing incident on more than one occasionMy lack of stealth bothered me so much, that I got a terry hearn 3 legged "stealth" to replace my demon possesed one,its v roomy, well sprung and the integrated pillow comes in very handy Its not too bad on the weight side but is a bit bulky to carry.

Terry Hearn stealth 3 leg is a fantastic bedchair... Had one now for about 6 months and the comfort is amazing. Plus its pretty darn light esspecially for a 3 leg'a and the prices now are very reasonable..

Climax (Sheffield) has a fair few in... They used to do a copy version for about 70-80quid that looked identical apart from not having a Terrey Hearn signature on it, even the weight was the same i think..

Your not wrong there mate, the ultra used to have an rrp of £240! Think i actually got it for about £160, the 65 quid coccon is far far better for kipping on and lighter with 3 legs.
