I've just bought the Trakker Protekta mat off Andypet, awesome piece of kit and bigger than the mattress on my bed.

There are plenty of good mats on the market, get down to the tackle shop and check them out pal

aqua combi gets my vote also, quality bit of kit, and if it doesn't get used much like mine it can still serve its purpose as a sun lounger.

cotswold aquarius, bought my first one 12 years ago. Just bought another as the old one was gettin a bit tatty, the new ones can be refilled with poly balls when they go a bit thin, it also helps if you put thompsons brick sealer on your mat when you first buy it, that should make it last a bit longer.

for fish safety i personally dont think you can beat the aqua mega mats, very bulky but lightweight, had a friend who had one and i realised just how good they are when he had a decent fish on the mat that was going balistic, due to the thickness and cusioning it provides the fish just couldn't get any leverage whilst it was kicking.

superb bit of kit, but like i said, rather bulky
