Default daiwa opus 5500 Big pit reel

I'm looking for a budget big pit reel. Has anyone used the Daiwa opus 5500 before? If so what do you think of it. Can anyone recommend any other good budget big pit reels?
thanks,
Will

Have you looked at the wychwood big pits? I've got a pair of equinox's and a pair of maximisers which i use for spod/marker work now! Got them off ebay for between 35-40 quid each which i dont think is bad and i've not had any probs with them.

Hi kerrwaf.
What about the daiwa emcasts. I think you can pick them up for about 35-40 notes now the newer evo models have come out. I know a few people have knocked them in the past but i think they were the bigger sized ones. I have got some 5000 sized ones and they are spot on. packed with features. Definately worth a look imo.
