Each to their own I say. there are times when a pod suits best, but I prefer singles or goal-posts.

seeing the latest and greatest stainless pod on the bank aint gonna make me go out and buy one, buying for buying sake........

i know lets all wait for someone to post something up and lets see who can come up with the wittiest way of putting them down...... (not just aimed at you carpmaster )

I have to agree with you here mate.

It does seem that alot of posts are being slated rather than giving helpful advice ( which is what I joined the forum for ).

I am sure most of us consider the looks of our tackle as well as the useability.

If terminator want his gear to look the "dogs", then that is up to him. I am sure I would like to spend all my cash on tackle but I have some vice,s like smoking and drinking plus a wife! He may only have one of the three The point is each to there own.

Terminator, I think Solar would look brill with what I have seen with your other tackle, you might need a solid wheel for your barrow

This will last me aslong as i want it too, dont care weather its tackle tarty or not i like nice things so i buy em With regards to the weight it doesnt bother me one bit, get all my gear on me barrow in one trip and round to the swim so its happy dayz!!!!

Tell you what andy i,d pay a pound to watch you try and use that set up on the garden/dam wall at capes, sometimes a pod is a necessary evil, the above situation being one of themthen again i suppose the other option is to just lie said rods on the deck, wait for your rods to be dragged across the stonework indicating a takedont think the rods would last long given that sort of treatment, thus not very practicaland they deffo would,nt look the mutts

My quatro probably looked good when it was new but now it looks like its been thrown off a cliff then run over by a truck, but it still works and its dead easy to use.
