I thought the old Fox stuff was great. Well weighted, very safe used with inlines plus korda style lead clips, and a dull colour. The new stuff ain't a patch on the old stuff. I'm using kryston and ESP at the moment but would love to get my hands on some traditional fox brown leadcore

I bin using the heavycore stuff from suffix, its good colour and find it alot easier to splice than the rest. Agree E.S.P stuff is decent and now on bulk spools its cheap aswell. The new Gardner Plummet looks good aswell , proper supple compared to the rest.

You cannot beat the ESP leadcore ,i splice a good size loop in each end and away y go,like you say the bigger spools are good value for money.
