Hi Mate..Had my infinity reels for 5 years and they are great, clutch and baitrunner spot on, smooth retrieve, good line lay, fine for casting. Had fish to 50+ on them and never had a problem. Had them out in rain, snow and ice you name it they have had it..dropped them in sand/the lake and they just keep going and never had them serviced yet! they,re tough as old boots! a few people have said they are heavy and look ugly but I could,nt care less as they do what i want them to do!

Thanks for that...fancied a change and to be honest a reel that stands up to the elements and not requiring a pimp me up polishing cloth is what im after

Anyone else out there got any praise etc for these reels.??

Had mine for about 5 yrs,if you're fishing at range beware of the bail arm snapping over in mid cast, and snapping you off.I'm so sick of it that i'm going back to my tournaments.Good luck mate.

yup, i always do it on my marker rod where i am making lots of casts, you need to be careful at where you turn the bail arm, concentrate and get it in the right spot and it wont happen.

I liked mine, apart from the plastic line clip.

Had a set since they came out, never had a problem with bail arms snapping over on the cast? Maybe its where the bail arm position is when you cast? I always have the spool up at its highest point for a long cast with the bail arm clicked over directly opposite me.

They are nice smooth reels but i personally think the line lay lets them down, the reverse tapered spools always leave a small gap at the bottom of the spool unless someone knows how to cure that? Maybe adding a washer?

Ive also had to replace one reel as one of the feet on the reel seat snapped off.

had mine 2 1/2 years or so and never let me down on casting or anything just got back from a 48 hour session and my reels were really dirty a quick shake in the lake and job done ready for the next storm
if i was being critical they are a bit heavy but thats comparing them to my entoh's which are very light
