best= trakker mpb brolly ( 8years old and still going strong)
daiwa emblem 5000z . (i adore these reels. i've got4!)

worst= nash neville solid state buzzers ( absolute gash and flogged after persisting with for 6months)
nash speed ruck box thing. (nothing wrong with the actual product, but just was a pointless purchase that i've used once and store gear in the garage at home in it now)

Best -

Armadillo, just can't fault it yet even after a few years use.

Gore-tex trousers from trans-world supplies, had 'em years and they are still waterproof, light and pack down to next to nothing. Take them on almost every session. And they are camo

Worst -

Nash 90 ltr stacksack. Needed a crane to lift it onto my back, then when I got it there the straps came away and the bag ended up on the floor behind me. First trip out as well.

13ft 2 1/4 tc Daiwa Whisker Kevlar carp rods. A few years ago now and to be fair the rods themselves were ok, just a stupid purchase really and they wouldn't fit into my holdall
We all have to learn the hard way sometimes

Best = Premier Aminos base mix, Aqua original Brolly system, Wychwood K2 rucksack, Stevie Neville FO stainless (see For Sale section...)

Worst = Korda ready tied leaders (what was I thinking of...), Kevin Nash outpoint hooks (anybody remember these...), Romart blow up unhooking mat....

Not done too badly over the years, buy right buy once is my motto.

Best - Evo brolly - a bit controversial given some people opinions but I rate them

Worst - starpoint hooks, MkI Swingers (with odd arm line retaining thing), gardner 'carp scaring' suspender, a load of The Biollix - never had a fish on it...most immediately recalled 'bad' purchases made well over a decade ago so I must be a bit more choosey and non believing of hype these days

Best.... Abu cardinal reels in early 80s retired them last year after over 20 years of abuse (dont make em like they used to ) used em for carp ,pike and in the sea never let me down had them serviced by Abu once and just cleaned and greased em about once a year or every other year

Worst anything with the name Nash attached to it

Best......nash 1997 titan (it's ripping now, but I can still cope with it)

Worst....daiwa mission oval brolly, I had to repair the ribs every time I used it, lasted 2 months max.

A favourite......2.75 harrison ballistas, sadly stolen after about 10 months.
