Default Bite Alarms

I'm after some advice into which bite alarms to purchase. I've used DXR's for just over 9 years and they have finnally started to give in. I have been more than happy with them and was planning to get 3 RX's until I heard they're being discontinued but still being sold at top price. For the past year I've also used 3 standard Delkims (old version) which are ok but in my opinion not in the same league as the DXR's.

So which alarms would you reccommend? I'm warming to the EOS-R's but haven't heard any feed back on these.

Thanks,
Dan

Delkims - Had mine 7 years and no bother. Had them in Wind. Rain you name it and they are spot on. Great Sensitivity adjustment. Great Battery life and if you should ever need it the After Sales in Fantastic.

Thanks for the above replies but I'm going to change the question slightly as I've got a good idea of what Nevs and Delkims can offer me.

Can anyone who uses or has used the EOS-R's let me know how they have found them?

m8 i use the eos-r alarms they are brilliant wouldn't have any other alarm, loads of good features, had them a while now on same battery, been out in all weathers, spot on... & even better with reciever
delks are obviously quality alarms, personally i just don't like the look of them & you can keep you nevs, i'me prob in the minority here

Thanks for replying John. I've had a look at them today in Pickerings and have found a problem that has put me off. Plus I'm told that these are also being discontinued!!! Bring back the DXR

I've used the delks , eos'r and nevs my favourite been the nevs. The eos's used battery prity quick and i don't think the roller sysem is as good as the nevs also the sound on one went lower than the other ??
The delks were better than the eos's but I struggled when fishing realy slack lines. No idication at all untill line is prity tight. Also theres to much to play with lol(I'm a simpleton).

Conclusion.
Get the nevs there mint!! They do exactly what they say on the box.
Hang on you don't even get a box. Or instructions

If you want Fox, get the RX, discontinued soon or not what is the problem with that? They **** all over the new Fox alarms0. You can't be much of a tart or you would be getting Nevs

I have heard a couple of bad stories about the new Fox alarms.

Never used the EOS-R, just using EOs at the mo but have purchased some EOS-X, Will be using them next week all being well. My EOS neverlet me down, but battery life has been a problem, maybe I should stop using my illuminated hangers

Have considered swapping to Delks, but I like fox !
