Default vinegar

Read some where that vinegar was a good soak/dip.Has anybody used it.
I cover my boilies with marmite it stays on for ages and i have had good results as a single boilie.What other soaks have you had success on.

ya read that myself in cr,carper it part of the carboxylic acids

Years ago had limited success on potatoes dipped in syrup.God that makes me feel old.

I've read that (about the vinegar) Also read about addind salt to spod mixes and baits etc.

I'll be stood on the bridge at capes next week with salt and vinegar pots from the chipie .

that salt thing go's back years when i first started out,like anything that waz in fashion then is now coming back

i like useing a 14mm pelle soaked in marmite and dipped in salt allwas works for me

lucky enough to work with treacle/molasses in liquid form i once coated old active 8 popups in it 17lb and 18lb was the end result
