I'm thinking that being a new bait alot of it will be going in and it will be like pre baiting sort of thing. Just a thought.

IMO that statements wrong, wrong, wrong Over the yrs Ive tried the new mainline baits as they have come out and had success on them all, straight away not months down the line

you are entitled to your opinion but it doesn't really make any sense. these baits are field tested before there release onto the market. mainline are not going to make and sell a bait that doesn't catch fish. that would be counter productive. if you bought a say 5kg of bait and didnt get a run you may just think you were unlucky but if you bought another say 10kg and still didn't catch you probably wouldn't buy anymore and mainline would lose a customer. its all to easy to say a bait is crap but without proof your mates statement means nothing.

What rubbish! Im sick of these 'big I am's' claiming bait is rubbish and crap. Why dont *some* anglers realise that it's not the bait thats crap!

There's so many factors involved in the 'consistant' landing of carp. Being on the latest 'fashion' bait isn't the main factor! Location, rigs, observation, bait application, play a far more important part than the actual bait. Get on a bait and stick with it!

Well said Blue. Its to easy to blame bait/weather/fish etc. The problem is that everyone wants to catch a 20/30lb fish first trip out. If you are lucky then good for you but at the end of the day you cannot beat fieldcraft and experience. Get out there and learn your trade - you will get more enjoyment in the long run

No. I never said that mainline pulse was crap. i said that i had heard it was. and, my mate did not say it was rubbish, he said a new bait sells best after 12 months or so - which is coming from someone directly in the business.

ok ok. to clear things up:

I have heard that the new Mainline Pulse is crap. This is obviously opinion and not fact, just like peoples preferances for different baits. I have been told by several people who have used it that it is below parr given mainline's relaible track record.

don't let this influence your fishing, if you want to try the pulse then get on it and good luck to you - you are probably as likely to catch on it as any other bait. all i'm saying is some find it a rubbish bait!!

i love this forum

ooooohhhh

JERRY JERRY JERRY!

I think it's best to say that leather carp may have reasons to believe that it's not top-spec bait. However this is only what he has heard....etc

At the end of the day, there is no right or wrong, so anyone willing to try it, I'd say get out there and give it a go! As long as you are confident, you are half way there!
