Default Baiting at this time of year

Im a firm believer in piling the bait in but at this time of year i always get worried as to when to get the spod rod out. When do you start to increase the amount of bait you put into your swim?

hard one really mate obviously depends on the water your fishing and how well you know it fish for a fish at a time and you won`t go far wrong.or if you do put some bait in don`t put in loads and just fish one rod on it.

depends on lake
but say youve got three rods, id spread around 1kilo of boilies in the choosen area, stick one rod in the centre of it with a stringer, then one at the outside of the spread with 2 bait stringer. then one on a bright single.

Wouldn't go mad at the moment with the bait pall,I usually wait for a couple off weeks till I start to do that, as it has been said in previous posts you can put it in but cant take it out mate-very wise words.
Saying that its each to there own and I know Chilly Chillcote(spelling) advocates piling the bait in through winter!!
Good luck with what ever you decide pall

Why not try a small method feeder on one rod that way your not filling it in and if the action does start you can build it up gradually and guage it from there

I think it depend entirely on the water, I know of a water that you can literally pile it in in winter and when the fish find it (and they do) you can expect action, yet are alot of waters that feed a lot less heavily in winter and singles and stringers are winners.
