It is probably a good bait but the advertisement that goes into this bait and many others is a bit ott in my opinion

Never seen a squid, octopus or monster crab on any water I have fished

Steve's right, some of the bait company's are very good at drawing anglers to their baits with "over flavoured" marketing. The trick is getting the old, wary and experienced angler who has seen a lot of bait in the past to fall for it

[quote=WHEEZY]designed to mimic washed out baits with no liquid flavours usedQUOTE]

If this is really the case then why bother to add liquid flavours in the first place, surely this means that the bait companies are now saying that the flavours that they have been selling all these years are now obsolete. Maybe they no longer need the profits made selling flavours (yeah right like that's ever going to happen)

As for the write up regarding Dynamite Baits.....remember that carp tackle and bait has caught far more anglers than it has carp

Why not just wash out your own baits?? Would you really pay good money for them, be like ordering a steak left out in the rain for a couple of days. Imo WASTE OF CASH!!

Unless your baits are over flavoured in the first place then why wash them out?

Surely carp get caught on baits that have often been in the lake for 24hrs or more. And the pure amount of brain power to comprehend that far out stretches even the smartest carp.

Carp only get caught by bait that has been out for 24 hours or more by anglers fishing for 24 hours or more. The pure amount of brain power to work that one out tells me this could be why sometimes the smartest of carp don't get caught.

Washing out baits in water from the lake and fishing as single hookbaits over previously baited areas isn't the worst tactic you could try, particularly on short sessions

Not the worst but may work for different reasons than people talk themselves into.
