Just one thing with hemp boys, if you have had some stored for a period off time then whilst still in the raw stage bite a grain in half. If the cornell is still white then you are ok its fine to use, if it has turned creamy or brown then the hemp has turned for the worst and don't use it-remember fish care!!.

Look at him,he'll eat anything with any excuse to put things in his mouth...

Good advice, better to bin it if its ropey,at under 20 quid a sack its not worth the risk, sow it in your garden instead....

Once hemp and particles have been prepared whats the best way to store them and how long will they last. Will prepared particles be ok kept in a bucket in a dark cool place?

i usually put particles but not hemp in an airtight bucket or something along those lines,
i like 2 leave mine for a few weeks so they go syrupy and all the natural
atractors leak out they will usaully stay fresh for a month or so
but u can freeze them once u have cooked them to keep them fresh
